DRIVEASSIST IN ACTION
DriveAssist is your personal assistant behind the wheel. Once you begin driving, the DriveAssist screen will automatically display on your phone. Incoming ring and audible text and email notifications are silenced.

• Incoming calls are routed to voicemail

• Outgoing calls are not allowed except for 911 which can be dialed at anytime

• Incoming text and email are accessible when you stop driving

• The optional Passenger feature enables you to use your phone after confirming that you are a passenger in a vehicle.

• DriveAssist will automatically deactivate 90 to 120 seconds after you stop driving. The optional End of Drive feature enables you to immediately use your phone.

• DriveAssist automatically activates when you begin driving and automatically deactivates when you stop driving.
• The service uses GPS and other sensors along with algorithms based on displacement of the mobile phone, not just speed, to determine driving.
• DriveAssist silences the incoming ring and audible text and email notifications when you are driving.
• Incoming calls are routed to voicemail

• DriveAssist automatically activates once your speed is greater than 10 mph for approximately 20 to 40 seconds.

• Weak GPS signals (e.g., when in/near parking garage, tall buildings, urban canyons) can inhibit the signal strength.
• Some phones have better GPS receivers and will activate more quickly than others.

• As soon as DriveAssist senses you are driving, the DriveAssist screen will be displayed on your device and your call will end.

• As soon as DriveAssist senses you are driving, the DriveAssist screen will be displayed on your device and will prevent you from continuing to type while driving.

• DriveAssist automatically deactivates when your speed is less than 10 mph for approximately 90 to 120 seconds.

• 'End of Drive' is an optional feature that allows you to immediately use the phone once you reach your destination instead of waiting 90 to 120 seconds for DriveAssist to automatically deactivate.

• DriveAssist will sense you are driving via GPS and reactivate.
• If you begin a call and DriveAssist activates, the call will end.
• If you attempt to text, e-mail, IM, etc., the DriveAssist screen will display on your device and prevent you from continuing to type while driving.

• DriveAssist has been designed to use multiple sensors to conserve battery life.
• Most phones that have been tested require charging once a day.
• Battery life will depend on usage so we recommend you keep an eye on power levels as you first use DriveAssist.
